AFFILIATE PROGRAM: Art.com offers a sophisticated affiliate program with many linking options and a tiered commission scheme, as well as a referral program for sub-affiliates.
COMMISSIONS: Tiered percentage basis, from 20%-25% of net sales based on monthly sales volume. 5% of sub-affiliate net sales for all sub-affiliates recruited. Warning: sales of gift certificates are non-commissionable, though purchases paid for by gift certificate are.
PAYMENT: 30 days after the end of each month if minimum payment level reached. Minimum of $20 for US affiliates, $100 for international affiliates. Payment is by check, in US$.
TRACKING: No ongoing tracking; only purchases made during the original session when a visitor arrives at Art.com are commissionable.
ADS: You can choose to link to any product stocked by Art.com (direct product links), and there are also a variety of banners and a search box to choose from. You can also build a Virtual Store, which is a page hosted on Art.com, containing the specific products you specify.
STATS: Annual, monthly and daily reports showing hits, orders, shipped orders, canceled orders, returned orders and sub-affiliate commissions. Stats update daily, at midnight.
ASSISTANCE: Art.com offers tips for optimizing the use of their ads. They offer sales improvement tips, site promotion information and other tips. They allow affiliates to email them to request framed images of specific products.
